Passport Information ARRIVAL SCENARIO Welcome to the Mexican Caribbean…!!!! The following information is very important to consider upon your arrival to Cancun International Airport; allow us to present to you an outlook regarding it. If you come from an International flight to Cancun as a tourist, once you disembark from the aircraft, you will continue directly to the Remember that from January 23rd, 2007 American citizens, whose travel to Mexico and return to the United States airway, will have to present an in force U.S. Passport. If you have a doubt, please take a look to the New Requirements for Travelers from and to the United States. After Immigration check you will continue to the luggage area. Check the screens to verify which carrousel has been assigned for your arrival flight and an airline representative should be there to assist you for any inconvenience. Then, you will go to make a line for Customs. Please have a completed Customs Declaration form available (a form per family or couple). Read it carefully before filling it out and, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance before you insert your Declaration form through the Automated Selection System (stop light). The Automated Selection System will determine whether your luggage will be submitted to inspection or be released:
Even if the Automated Selection System shows a green light, the Customs Authority may issue a verification order to corroborate the declared goods.
After Customs Control, you will pass through a glass and enter a corridor where you will find a lot of booths from Car Rentals, Ground Transportation Companies and Tourist Information. Keep walking and do not accept information, promotions or discounts from no one, as this are likely to be Time Sharing Sales people. At the end of the corridor you will find the last glass door which leads you outside the Airport building where the Olympus staff will be waiting for you with a big sign of your name, group or program. You can´t really miss us as our professional staff wear a bright orange polo shirt and dark blue trousers. Once you are met and greeted, you will be asked for your transfer voucher, and welcomed on board of our transportation units!
